Hello!

This is a quite cool study that I found regarding responsive façades.
It is still a work in progress from the MIT but it seems quite promising. It consists on ETFE cushions combined with the concept of "smart windows", in other words, it consists on ETFE cushions that change their optical properties through the use of a certain voltage. Being the study's aim, the one of reducing energy consumption of high-rise buildings, the purpose of this optical change would be of making the façade more opaque in order to reduce the sunlight coming inside the building. This will be done through air pressure sensors.
