Hello,
I have been researching on the topic of emergency shelters and I have found some other examples that use kits of parts and that have interesting assembling systems as well as evolution and adaptability capacities.
In this first example I think we can take as reference the simplicity with witch Shigueru Ban solves the very first need of aid in catastrophe situations. We can see on the pictures how with simple elements and easily assembled by anyone in a few hours the user can have the first shelter where to refuge himself. For me the most interesting thing of this project is to see the simple quite of parts, composed by few more than five elements as we see in the pictures.
Undoubtedly Shigeru Ban is specialist in this type of project. Personally, it's the part of his work I admire the most.
