"Prefabricated life as an alternative".
This project of the architects Fernando Rodriguez and Pablo Oriol, FRPO, has been designed responding to the needs of the site where it is built. Due to trees and roots, it was very difficult to make a common foundation. So the answer to this particular problem was to use a lightweight structural system of steel micropiles, coated by solid wood.
The result is a dwelling made of an insulating material and with a final weight equal to one third of a traditional housing.
I recommend you read an article from the newspaper El País to find out more about this house and its construction, and most visit the website of FRPO
